Registration

How can I register?

Registration for the METEC & 2nd Estad 2015 is carried out exclusively by our online registration form here.
If you are accepted as a speaker or chairman of the METEC & 2nd Estad 2015 please use only the registration with the access we have sent to you. This is the only way you can benefit from the reduced conference fee.

Can I buy a day ticket / partial services?

Registration for the event is only possible as a total package. We do not offer daily tickets. A booking for individual presentations is not possible. It is not possible to book the event without catering.

When will the registration start?

Registration is possible here.

Can I cancel my participation?

Free of cancellation charge participation is not possible, although you can select a replacement free of charge.

Can you issue me a letter of invitation for my visa application?

Yes. Please send us an e-mail with a scan of your passport to metec@tema.de. We will send you the invitation letter as an electronic document via Email.
The processing will take a few days, please consider this in your schedule. Please note that Saturdays and Sundays are not working days.

How do I know that my registration was successful?

After you register you will immediately receive a confirmation with an invoice to the specified email address (and, if necessary, to the registered alternative email address). If you do not receive this, please check your spam folder. If no confirmation is received, please contact us (metec@tema.de).

 

 

Program

How can I upload my paper / my presentation?

Your data can be uploaded to the speaker platform. If you have already stored data it will be overwritten by re-save. Near to the event no further change will be possible, this has been blocked by the organizer and changes are no longer possible.

If there are changes to my data, how should I proceed?

By when do I have to have submitted my documents?

All personal data, as well as the title and co-authors must be controlled prior to the 15 December 2014.
The elaborated proceedings entries must be uploaded by 25 February 2015.
The deadline for the PPT file is 30 May 2015.

Can I add / change a co-author?

Can I set a preferred date for my presentation?

No. Due to the extensive conference program, it is not possible to give a desired date.

Invoicing & payment

Which payment methods are accepted?

Payment can be made by credit card (VISA, Mastercard) as well as by bank transfer.

By when must the invoice be paid?

The due date of the registration fee is stated on the invoice.

Where can I find the bank account details?

The bank details are stated on the invoice. Please transfer the registration fee only to the specified account, otherwise the payment cannot be allocated. Payments to the Stahlinstitut VDEh are not posted and you will receive a reminder.

I have not received my invoice. Why not?

Immediately after you register, you will receive a confirmation with an invoice to the specified email address (and, if filled-out, to the registered alternative email address). If you do not receive this, please check your spam folder. If no confirmation is received, please contact us (metec@tema.de).

I am prevented. What do I do?

Where does the Congress take place?

Is catering available?

During the event, participants will be supplied with food and drinks. These are included in the participation fee. Booking is not possible without catering.

Is Internet available?

Yes, in the CCD Wireless Internet access is available free of charge.

Where can I park?

In the immediate vicinity of the CCD Congress Center Dusseldorf, there are more than 1,200 parking spaces available. Just follow the signs to Messe Düsseldorf. Nearer to the Congress Center, follow the special signs CCD Süd and the signs for parking P3, P4 or P5. If necessary, the big car parks at Messe Dusseldorf can be used. Parking fees are not paid by the organizer.

 

 

Evening Event

Can I bring an accompanying person to the Evening Event?

You can bring an accompanying person to the evening event, as long as seats are available. Participants of the Congress cannot be registered as a companion.

Can I still register someone for the evening event?

Tickets for the evening event can be registered, as long as places are available.

Is it possible to reserve a seat?

For the evening event, all seating is unreserved. It is not possible to reserve specific seats.

I would like to sit together with my colleagues. Is this possible?
